Coronado 2008!

It was such a blast!

This is one of the first pictures here, since this is what our kids love the most about this trip. It's not the beautiful beach or the amazing & historical Hotel Del Coronado, or the family togetherness, or serious sandcastle-building, or even Moo Time(close 2nd!). It's running around & playing games & going up and down the elevator with the 40 or so kids that we meet up with at the Del every 4th of July. It's one big serious kid party.

The City of Coronado Parade. We felt sorry for Brian going by himself last year, so a few of us decided to keep him company this year.

Breakfast at the Sheerwater.

The Barneys, the Watts, the Christensens, the Garns, the Tanners, the Oklands, the Brians, the Heatons, and us, heading to the golf course for the fireworks.

A little cute crack.

YOWWW!!

Max, my little shell collector.

Jake seemed to migrate to the girls alot this year.

Gus would watch the sand pouring into the bucket so intently like this. He is so funny to watch!

Rebecca snuggling with Addie. SO cute!

We were surprised Jake got out & boogie-boarded so much. He is so deathly afraid of sharks. He honestly expects to never return home from Hawaii because he's sure he'll be eaten by a shark.

Sand goatee.

My favorite time of day on the beach.

A little S'mores action on the beach.

I look like a freak!

These girls had so much fun hanging out together.

Our favorite morning activity....climbing the rocks & catching crabs. What could be better??

Can't wait till next year!!!

Random Tuesday

My favorite from a photoshoot yesterday. LOVE those cheeks!!

Gus loves to sit up on the counter and watch Brian shave. It is the cutest thing! He LOVES his Daddy!

My little fish. He LOVES to go swimming. He'll get his swimsuit and bring it to me and say "eeeease!" (that's please). Gus is not much of a talker. He turned 2 in February and he says very few words. Our pediatrician says he is definitely speech delayed. I think alot of it stems from the fact that he can get whatever he needs from four older siblings & Mom without having to do much. He does have a hard time trying to pronounce consonants, but it's SO CUTE! It won't always be so cute, though. Something to work on!
