Zane finally decided he wanted to learn how to ride a bike.He's 7 1/2 and it's about time.
It's not that he wasn't coordinated enough earlier, he just did not want to.A couple years ago when all his buddies were learning to ride bikes we asked him when he wanted to learn, and his reply was, "but why would I want to ride a bike when cars are much faster?"
A totally typical Zane comment.
We laughed our heads off.
Later he declared he was going to be "a skateboarder guy & a scooter guy, but not a bike guy".
He's so very proud of himself.And so are we.
This post makes me very happy to see! Avery and Poppy have no desire(or coordination) to ride bikes. I have offered to pay uncles and nephews to teach them and it's just not happening. They try and my kids simply don't care. Sheesh..
