Random Thursday

Mars was in a good mood the other day so we had a little photo shoot.
Good thing.
The next day she plucked half her eyebrows off. Unsupervised first-timer plucking - NO GOOD!

My angel baby. He's such a happy morning boy. And I love how he smells in the morning! Pee-pee diaper & everything! (Is that weird? Am I the only one?) LOVE. IT. Yummy!!

Why can't Lego sell the Lego guys by themselves??? WHY? I have to spend $100 to get 2 must-have clone troopers!! ACK!!

I wasted a ton of time yesterday cleaning out the playroom. Why do I bother? Legos in every nook & cranny! But, they sure do play with them. It's a love/hate relationship.

Valley Ho weekend

He butters my muffin, lights my fire, stokes my flame, wets my whistle, rocks my world.

We had so much fun last weekend staying local at the Valley Ho. It's so retro & funkalicious!

Our room had a bathtub in the middle of the room! Groovy. With a cool blue light over it, so when there's water in it, it reflects all over the ceiling. How would we know that? Uh huh. How could we not try it out!

A little shopping, a little Trader Vic's, a little time away from the monkeys, FABULOUS!!

Max the Drugdealer

So I get a call from our school's principal this morning. Max had been caught distributing unknown substances on the playground. What the ? They describe the pills to me - soft, yellow capsules - my fish oil supplements! I had thrown them away & he had found them in the trash & being the 8-year-old that he is, thought they were cool because they had squishy stuff inside them, so he puts a few in his pocket. Then he's at recess & pulls them out to show his friends & of course they all want one, because they want to pop them or smoosh them.

The school took this VERY SERIOUSLY. I had to go pick him up at the principal's office & take him home. They wrote up a disciplinary action form & they could have marked it as a drug offense, which would mean expelled for a week & mandatory drug counseling!!!

He was all teary-eyed when I came to get him. They had made a pretty big deal about it, and I'm kind of glad they did. It made a big impression on him and the kids he gave them to. He won't be doing that again, & chances are, one day these kids will be offered something at school , from their friends, that's not a vitamin!

She used to be so sweet.....

We've called her 'sweetpea' since she was a tiny baby. And she was such a good baby.

Did I mention how much I love this baby girl?

It's finally done (well, almost). And I LOVE how it turned out.
I wish I had a before picture, because it's a major improvement.
And the Wii Guitar Hero is a serious hit!
We were a little skeptical about the white couches, in a waiting room. But I SO want to take pictures on those babies!

In memory of Hammy the Hamster

It's a sad day today at the Masons.

We buried our beloved Hammy under an orange tree in the backyard. We're hoping Daisy doesn't dig her up!

We all liked Hammy. Even Brian. Which says alot.

She will be missed.
